Who we are

Lions Clubs International is a volunteer organization dedicated to leadership development through community service.

Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 206 countries who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. Lions are primarily known for working to end preventable blindness.

Every Lions Club is autonomous and participates in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing vision screening for pre-school children.

Since 1931, The Bay Shore Lions Club has worked diligently for you and your neighbors to help create a better Bay Shore. The Bay Shore Lion members are volunteer community minded fellow citizens volunteering to improve the lives of the less fortunate in our area. Throughout the year, we sponsor charity fund raising events to benefit many local organizations.
